LINGUA FRANCA STIPENDIUM

Since its beginning, the FF Endowment Fund fund has been dedicated to the Lingua Franca Scholarschip project to support language education of secondary school students. By means of competition, it aims for compensation of the insufficient level of English language graduation skills (currently B1 or B2) in the Czech Republic.
The project has long been motivating young students from the Czech Republic so that after completing their secondary education, they have the language proficiency that will enable them to continue their studies abroad and, above all, to compete in the highly competitive job market in the Czech Republic, the EU or anywhere in the world.
Selected successful candidates are awarded the 100% of the CAE language exam fee by the Lingua Franca Stipendium.
What should I do if I am interested in applying for a scholarship?
Interested students from cooperating secondary schools can register using the application form available via the button below. Submission of a cover letter, one A4 page in PDF format, is an integral part of the application form. The completed form and the motivation letter must be submitted by 01.10. to 1.03. of the current school year. How are the scholarship holders selected?
The Lingua Franca Stipendium will be awarded by the selection committee to two duly registered applicants who complete the CAE language exam in the school year 2025/26, and who have the best result among the applicants.
The completed form and the CAE certificate with the marks obtained should be submitted in PDF format through the button below by 31.07. of the current school year.

Only students from the secondary schools from the list below can to apply for the Lingua Franca Stipendium.
Evaluation and award of the Lingua Franca Stipendium
The LFS will be awarded by the selection committee to two duly registered candidates who complete the CAE language exam in the school year 2025/26 and achieve the best result among the applicants.
The evaluation of the LFS applicants' results and subsequent communication of the FF Foundation fund representatives with the awarded scholarship holders take place during August, following the current year of the LFS.
Awarding the scholarship (a transaction to the bank account) and a possible personal meeting with the FF Foundation fund
representatives take place during September following the current year of the LFS.

We support students from all types of secondary schools in the Czech Republic who know that language skills are one of the important keys to success in life. We appreciate their diligence, self-sufficiency and education.
Any secondary or grammar school student from any educational institution in the Czech Republic that officially cooperates with the FF Endowment Fund on the Lingua Franca Stipendium project can apply.
Inform the management of your secondary education institution about us and about the possible cooperation on the Lingua Franca Scholarship project.
No problem, we would be happy if you apply in the next year 2026/27, which we plan to open in the autumn of 2026.
Congratulations on passing the language exam at the CPE level. Gaining language proficiency beyond B2 is the purpose of the LFS project. Despite the LFS project not being primarily targeted at this level, if all the requirements for LFS candidates are properly completed, the holder of the CPE certificate will also be included among the LFS candidates.
