Registration for the new edition of the Lingua Franca Stipendium is now open for applications


The application for the new year 2023/24 of the Lingua Franca Stipendium opened on 01.10.2023. The deadline to apply is 31.3.2024 using the application form.

In the school year 2022/23, we successfully completed the first season of the Lingua Franca Stipendium project, handing out a total of four scholarships, two of which were awarded in person at the Mikuláš Kopernik Gymnasium in Bílovec.

Dvojjazyčnost prospívá výkonu mozku

Mluvit dennodenně několika jazyky je v mnoha, či dokonce ve většině zemí světa běžné: lidé hovoří místními, jedním nebo více úředními jazyky, k tomu téměř všichni ještě ovládají angličtinu, francouzštinu, španělštinu nebo čínštinu. Mnohojazyčnost je tedy z globálního pohledu přirozená a představuje spíše pravidlo než výjimku. V Čechách tomu ale tak není.
